Teaching and research deal on managing those resources, on shaping biospheres and on life sciences. All BOKU degrees have in common that at least two major disciplines are combined within one single study — with the main focus lying on the natural sciences and related technologies. To ensure a broader outlook, every degree course also provides lectures relating to relevant fields drawn from the social sciences, from economics and from management.
 

Bachelor- and Master Degree Progammes

 

BOKU offers 8 different Bachelor - programmes (only taught in german), 27 Master - programmes (8 of them taught in English language) and 2 Doctorate and 1 PhD programmes.

 

All Bachelors degrees are taught in German and hence international students must have proven competence in German; this also applies for all BOKU Masters degree courses other than the International Masters. These require proven competence in English.
